🐾 THE STORY OF HOW A HAPPY WAGS & WHISKERS WAS MADE! 🐾

Hi everyone! My name is Addison, and I’m the owner of A Happy Wags & Whiskers! 🐶🐱💚

Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve wanted to help every animal in the world. I’ve always had a huge love for animals and dreamed of being someone pet parents could trust with their babies.

And of course, I can’t tell my story without mentioning my own furry baby, Milo! 🐱❤️ He’s a big part of my life and one of the many reasons I have such a huge soft spot for animals.

I wanted to create something different from the typical pet-sitting experience. I wanted something that felt personal, affordable, and most importantly, full of love. But for a long time, I didn’t know where to start.

I started by helping friends and family with their pets, even doing it for free because I simply loved being around animals. Then, when I was 17, I talked to my mom about wanting to turn my love for animals into an actual pet-sitting job.

I looked into different apps and services, but most of them required me to be 18. I was disappointed, but instead of giving up, I had an idea… 💡

A HAPPY WAGS & WHISKERS! 🐾

I decided to create my own little business where I could care for pets while also making things affordable for pet parents. My goal was never to become rich from this. I wanted to charge enough to help cover gas, supplies, and the little things I may need while caring for your pets, while keeping my services affordable for families.

Now I’m 18, and I may still be young, but I have a HUGE heart for animals. Some people even tell me I have too big of a heart! 😂❤️

A Happy Wags & Whiskers may not be a huge business yet, and I may only have a few clients here and there, but every single one means so much to me.

Seeing a happy pet, a relaxed pet parent, and knowing that I made someone’s day a little easier is what makes me happy.

I’m still learning. I’m still growing. And I know I have a lot to learn about running a business, but one thing I can promise is that I will always give it my absolute everything. 🐾

This business was built from a love for animals, a big dream, and a whole lot of heart.
