Jinx and Shiva are looking for their forever home…

Jinx is a 4 year old long-haired male tabby and Shiva is a 2 year old male ā€œmini panther.ā€ Both are neutered, microchipped, and inside only. They are not up to date on vaccines. Shiva is very sweet and gentle; Jinx is very well behaved but likes his personal space when it comes to strangers.
They are located in Slidell. The current owner is just getting out of the military, moving to Oregon and unable to bring his cats.

Please share, and connect with us if you’re interested in adopting these two handsome fellas.

Hello all - our friend’s cat accidentally got out and is missing in Covington off 190 near Petsmart. The cat’s name is Charlie and his home is on Eagle Loop (in Audubon Trail subdivision) behind Petsmart and Four Seasons Buffet. Please contact us if you see or capture him. Thank you šŸ™

Another Slidell story: we trapped this big beautiful black cat near Cajun Encounters. Come to find out, he’s already fixed and has a microchip! His name is Romeo. We are hopeful that the owners will be overjoyed to hear that he has been found šŸ™

If you’re ā€œfinding homesā€ for unaltered kittens, it may feel like you’re helping 🚫 but in reality, it often continues the very problem we’re all trying to solve.

Without being spayed or neutered, the cycle doesn’t always end. 😿 Those kittens can grow up and have litters of their own, and before long, the situation we were trying to fix is right back where it started… or even worse.

Rescues and shelters work so hard to do it differently. āœ… They adopt out kittens who are already vetted and altered, giving them a real chance at a stable future while also preventing more kittens from being born into uncertainty.

It’s not about placing kittens quickly. It’s about placing them responsibly, in a way that actually breaks the cycle.

This sweet girl was seemingly dumped in Slidell at a known dumping location/feral colony (with caretaker) location. When we went to trap her, she was so friendly and just kept rubbing on our legs. We easily put her into a carrier and she was fixed and tested today. She’s been taken in by St. Tammany Animal Resource Team and will be available for adoption. Please reach out to them if interested in adopting this friendly girl.

Good Friday was quite a day! šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø
We saw a Facebook post about this dog in need of transportation to a groomer so that she could ultimately go to a rescue, so after bringing our foster kittens for their final vaccinations and testing, we rushed over to help! Nola (the floofy dog) was a bit scared to get in our vehicle, but luckily we anticipated this and had brought a large crate. Meanwhile, we split up so one could go pick up the 3 TNR kitties post surgeries. Kittens, cats, and a dog, Oh My!!
Big thanks to the groomer who stayed after hours to accommodate Nola!
