I thought this was pretty neat.

This is the Perry Nuclear Power Plant at night, taken from about 5 miles away. I expected to be able to see the lights, but I didn’t expect the cooling towers and steam plume to stand out this well.

Makes me appreciate what these drone cameras can do.

This was taken at night of the Perry Nuclear Power Plant from about 5 miles away. I figured I’d see the lights, but I didn’t expect the cooling towers and steam plume to come through this clearly at that distance.

Pretty impressive what these drones can pick up.

The sheer size of the counterweight on the Ashtabula Harbor bridge is wild to see from this angle.
Most of us drive across it every day, but from the air, you really get a sense of the engineering that’s been keeping our harbor moving since 1925. It’s definitely one of my favorite local landmarks to fly over.
I’m curious, has anyone here ever actually seen the inner workings of the bridge, or do you just enjoy the view while you’re waiting for it to go down? Let’s hear it!
