Tonight's full moon is the Harvest Moon, and it's rising on one of the biggest bird nights of the fall.

About 360 million birds are forecast to fly over the US tonight. The most will be over Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia.

The moon comes up right around sunset. After dark, if your sky is clear, point a pair of binoculars at it, hold steady and wait. Sooner or later a bird will fly right across it.

If you can, turn off outdoor lights you don't need tonight. Bright lights pull birds off course when they fly at night.

Missy always wants to be the center of attention to get belly rubs (as long as it's not small kids, who truly scare her!).

She won't share her toys, even with her friends.
She draws STRICT boundaries when it comes to toys, food, treats.
What's hers is hers.
Otherwise, she's pretty much perfect. 💖

Snoodle is new to MARF and would love to have you need her.
She's a very skinny (40 #) and timid Anatolian blend about 3 years old who is also very sweet.
She looks like she has a lion's mane.
She just got spayed so she's not yet been bathed, but she's fully vetted.
Come meet her at Madison PetCo on Saturday.

Introducing PAN... DOB est 5/20/2025, male, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped...

PAN is one precious young boy!! He was a "community cat" who needed help, but his caretakers were only able to set out food/water for him. He joined our rescue where he saw a vet, quickly recovered from a flesh wound, and has been fixed and received all the necessary vetting now. PAN is a sweetheart who enjoys attention, does well with other cats and should blend great into most any home! Are you looking for your very own mini house panther?? PAN would love to fill your void!!
