🐾 Meet Tucker & Gus — A Pair of Best Friends Looking for Their Forever Home! 🐾
Sometimes the best things come in pairs, and Tucker and Gus are proof of that! These two boys are a bonded pair, and while it isn’t absolutely necessary for them to be adopted together, we would love to see them find a home as a team. Gus, especially, is very bonded to Tucker and looks to him for comfort and reassurance.
🐶 Gus is a BIG boy with an even bigger heart! At 103 pounds, this Pittie mix is a total baby who seems to have no idea just how big he actually is. 😂 Gus is extremely friendly, affectionate, and loves his people.
Because of his size and strength, Gus needs a home with someone who:
❤️ Is physically strong enough to handle him
❤️ Has experience with large dogs
❤️ Understands that a 103-pound dog can sometimes be a little… unaware of his own dimensions! 😂
Gus also has a chicken allergy, so his new family will need to keep him on a diet containing beef, lamb, or salmon. Chicken makes him extremely itchy, so sticking to his appropriate diet is very important for keeping him comfortable.
🐶 Tucker is a handsome 6-year-old Lab/Catahoula mix. Tucker is still a little nervous about being in the shelter, so he may need some time, patience, and understanding while he adjusts. Once he realizes he is safe and can trust you, we believe his personality will really start to shine.
These boys may have different personalities, but they have something important in common — they have each other. 💙
