Happy Friday! 🚨All non-urgent ultrasound appointments are filled up for today, and we are almost filled up for next Friday, too. Call or text us sooner rather than later if your pet needs a non-urgent ultrasound in the next few weeks!

🎉Congrats Toby!!🎉

Our oncology team started working with Toby in April after his lymphoma diagnosis. As he started CHOP chemotherapy protocol for B cell lymphoma, he quickly learned that treatments came with loads of snuggles and treats. In return, Toby always brought big smiles to each visit.

He's now completed his treatments - please join us in congratulating Toby and his family and wishing him a long, happy remission 💜🧡💛

One question we get all the time: "Do I need an appointment?"

The answer is no, but we do recommend calling first!

📞When you call, we'll ask about your pet's condition. If they're stable, we'll give you an "arrival time" based on our current caseload. An arrival time isn't a traditional appointment. Because we're an urgent care clinic, emergencies are always handled first. The schedule may shift if a patient in critical condition comes in. With an arrival time, you can spend most of your time at home with your pet instead of in our lobby. You'll come in closer to when we expect to see you. There may still be a brief wait after you arrive, but it's often much shorter than if you simply walked in.

🚶🏼If you walk in with a stable pet, we'll add you to our schedule at the next available arrival time. This might mean waiting a few hours if we're busy.

🚨If your pet is having a true emergency, don't wait! Call us and come right in.

We're here every day from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. to provide urgent care when your pet needs it most!

Part of our mission here at ACES is to help pet owners in Madison and surrounding areas access timely care. Ultrasounds are in high demand right now, and getting one shouldn't take so long! That's why we're expanding our services to offer non-urgent ultrasounds every Friday from noon to 5 p.m., starting this week.

We do abdominal ultrasounds, echocardiograms, thoracic ultrasounds, cervical ultrasounds, and more! Give us a call at 608-333-0500 to grab an appointment or refer a client. You can also text us at 608-405-6585.

Today's the day! We're now offering urgent dental care for pets diagnosed with or suspected of having issues like tooth root abscesses, fractures, severe dental disease, feline stomatitis, symphyseal fractures, or needing extractions.

Have your veterinarian call or email us to refer. Or, schedule an urgent care visit to have us examine your pet and determine if they need urgent dental care.

Nothing is ever guaranteed, especially after a cancer diagnosis. Which is why birthdays are extra special in oncology, and why we are so ecstatic to wish Tee a happy 10th birthday! 🎉

Tee was diagnosed with lymphoma at the age of 8 in June 2025. He completed the CHOP chemotherapy protocol and is still enjoying life in remission. Seeing him happily enjoy his birthday last week with his two brothers is such a gift! Thank you to his family for sharing these sweet photos of memories being made and cherished 🧡💜💛

We will offer urgent dental care starting August 1! If your vet diagnoses your pet with the following, we can help:
🦷Tooth root abscess
🦷Tooth fractures
🦷Severe dental disease impacting health or ability to eat
🦷Tooth extractions (single tooth, multiple teeth, or whole mouth)
🦷Feline stomatitis
🦷Symphyseal fractures

A referral from your veterinarian is required—please have your veterinarian call us at 608-333-0500 or email us at [email protected].

To our Czar’s Promise Family ~

Spending time with the brave heroes and families we serve is truly the heart and soul of Czar’s Promise. It was an absolute honor to visit this handsome hero, Vinny, and his incredible mom during his recent oncology check-up.

Vinny is nothing short of a miracle.

In 2024, Vinny was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called thymic carcinoma. After diagnostic testing, he underwent surgery to remove a nine-pound mass from his chest…a miracle in itself. Following recovery, Vinny completed five rounds of Carboplatin chemotherapy and continued doing what he does best—living his joyful life alongside his loving human family and canine siblings.

Fast forward to today…

A small tumor has returned in Vinny’s chest, and he has begun oral chemotherapy to help slow its growth. At this visit, Vinny and his mom received encouraging news—his tumor is very slow growing, increasing by only one centimeter since his last X-rays.

And the very best news?

Vinny has absolutely no idea he has cancer.

His energy is incredible. His spirit is unshaken. And his love for everyone he meets? Pure, boundless, and on full display.

Vinny is a hero without a cape…a reminder of resilience, joy, and living fully in each moment.

Here’s to you, sweet Vinny—and to your amazing mom and dad. May you continue living your very best life, filled with love, tail wags, and endless labrador kisses.
