Glad to see our county is officially out of the drought but hoping others see the same relief soon.

The new drought map was published this morning. Portions of Pittsylvania, Halifax, Charlotte, and Campbell counties are still in "extreme" drought.

Statewide, the cumulative geographic area still in some form of drought increased from 32% last week to 34% this week.

**Sold out of chicken eggs for the week, thanks everyone! Duck eggs are still available. **

We’ve got plenty of eggs available! $4/dozen for free-range chicken eggs.
Try duck eggs for your fall baking! They’re richer and creamier, perfect for cakes, cookies, etc. Duck eggs are $8/dozen or $5/6.
PM us for pick up on the farm in Etlan or to arrange meeting in town of Madison.
All our girls are fed a high quality, locally milled, non-GMO grain. Happy hens lay the best eggs!
