Alright. We have reached a point where I can comfortably update all of our customers and suppliers with accurate information, as to not accidentally give false hope getting delivery or order estimations together. Thank you all for your patience!
After recooperating losses from purchasing the new vehicle, new chainsaw, other tools that were needed, as well as paying rent and other bills, we had an unfortunate circumstance. The mother of my children underwent surgery due to the hospital finding a mass on one of her fallopian tubes. The surgery was successful, and she is recovering. The issue with this is, I am still a full time stay at home dad until she can be medically cleared to lift the children.
The new car is doing great, aside from minor repairs (a fuel pump, a tire patch, a coolant leak, and an oil change). We expect that major car issues or downtime due to car failures will be at a very minimum in the next two years to come (more if we can replace this vehicle with something more modern as the two years go on). Meaning that we will be able to keep deliveries going for years, as long as we have wood supply!
The saddest news of it all, however, is that we are forced to shut down for the winter (pending any potential batches of weather that may arise at 34°F or higher for a full 5-6 hours here near Portage, Wisconsin). We have hundreds of logs in our driveway that we planned to debark, along with gathering more wood from the forests, to prepare for the winter months. Sadly, with the time lost we were unable to achieve our goals for this winter and we are sadly left with absolutely 0 trees that are able to be built until we have warmer weather.
Please let us know if you would like a tree in spring, and we will be sure to get you a tree as soon as we can get back in action.
2025 may have been full of some setbacks, mostly caused by vehicles, but as we move past it we prepare heavily for the future.
We do apologize for the inconvenience, but we assure our customers that you will be compensated in discounts when spring arrives.
Thank you again, and i hope you all have an amazing winter! ❤️
