Day 4 of Veterinary Technician Week!

Today we're introducing you to Faith, our lead receptionist who has been training to be a technician! Faith has been learning new skills daily and is now a pro at placing IV catheters and pulling bloodwork! We are so proud of Faith for all of her hardwork.

Faith has been with Best Friends for about 3 years, but Faith has the unique ability to make it feel like you've known her for decades. She always checks patients in with a warm smile and gentle pets. We often call Faith the glue to our clinic, because she is our problem solver and a shoulder to lean on when we have a hectic day.

Faith has five Best Friends of her own: Winston the dog and her four cats Kimchi, Goose, Percy, and Archie. Winston is a beloved pup, so Faith is often gifted with Winston related things, such as the statue you see pictured! Faith is an advocate for shelter animals, her two newest kittens Archie and Percy were adopted from Greater Huntsville Humane Society (GHHS) when they were still wee kittens!

On surgery days, you can find Faith recovering patients at the front desk. We don't know what magic she does, but that surgery patient will be warmed up in no time if it's in her arms! Faith is the type of person who can pick up any skill or hobby and be a master at it the same day she learned it!

We are so beyond thankful to have Faith as part of our team, and we want YOU to show her all the love!! Join us in celebrating her during Vet Tech Week and share your favorite moment with Faith at the clinic!!!

Day 3 of Veterinary Technician Week!

Today, we’re excited to introduce another one of our amazing veterinary technicians: Bri!

Bri has been with Best Friends Animal Hospital for a little over a year, and we feel so lucky to have her as part of our team! Whether she’s working her magic with our patients, or being the best at dental polishing, Bri brings so much to our hospital! One thing is for sure, the treatment area is never boring when Bri is around! You can count on her to make sure Alexa is playing everyone’s requested songs while the team works.

Bri has five Best Friends of her own at home: Baby, Goose, Nash, Penny, and Wolfgang! Featured in her photo is Wolfgang and Nash! Anyone with five pets knows just how much love, patience, and dedication goes into caring for them, and Bri brings that same level of compassion to the patients she sees here at the clinic every day.

With her years of experience in veterinary medicine, Bri understands that every patient has their own personality, needs, and quirks. From the nervous pets who need a little extra reassurance to the ones who are always ready to make new friends, she helps make sure our patients receive the love and care they deserve.

We’re so thankful Bri chose to be part of the Best Friends Animal Hospital family! Her experience, dedication, and fun personality make her such a valuable part of our team!

Day 2 of Veterinary Technician Week!

Today, we’re celebrating another one of our amazing techs: Regan!

Regan has been with Best Friends Animal Hospital for almost 3 years! If you’ve visited our hospital, you may have seen her up front checking your pet in or in the back helping with vaccines. No matter where she is, Regan always brings her love for animals to everything she does!

One thing about Regan? She never forgets a pet! She remembers her patients and their owners, bringing a whole new meaning to being a Best Friend. She even has two feline Best Friends of her own at home, Gonzo and Pickles, and she’s hoping to add another to the family soon!

Regan brings so much fun and personality to our clinic! From leaving thoughtful notes in client accounts to make sure everyone knows just how much she loves their pets, to helping wherever she’s needed, she always finds a way to make a difference. She’s done it all, from working up front to prepping for surgery, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s accomplished!

Happy Monday and Happy National Veterinary Technician Week!

There’s no better way to kick off Vet Tech Week than by celebrating one of our very own veterinary technicians, Kennedy!

Kennedy has been with Best Friends Animal Hospital for a little over a year, and she has truly become a Best Friend to all! Some of you may already know Kennedy if she has cared for your pet during an appointment, dental cleaning, or surgery. With years of experience in the veterinary field, Kennedy brings a wealth of knowledge, and plenty of stories to our team.

Did you know Kennedy is our personal crazy cat lady? Kennedy is a proud cat mom to FIVE cats: Betty White, Leo, Dan, Lorena, and Zuko! Featured in her photo are Betty White and Lorena. While her world may revolve around cats, Kennedy is just as wonderful when it comes to caring for our canine friends, too!

Kennedy also recently tied the knot, and we couldn't be happier for her as she begins this exciting new chapter!

Kennedy is always one of the first to lend a helping hand, support her teammates, and make sure our patients receive the love and care they deserve. We are so thankful to have her as part of the Best Friends family!

Happy National Boss’s Day!

Today, October 16th, we’re celebrating our amazing Hospital Manager, Stephanie Hollich

Stephanie is the foundation of our team at Best Friends Animal Hospital, and she’s so much more than just a boss!

She’s a marathon runner, and this photo was taken at the Run for Justice 5K, where she earned her second-fastest 5K time!

She’s also a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who loves helping her team learn new things and grow every day.

At home, she has three dogs of her own: Smokey, Toi, and Xena, who might just be her favorite things in the whole world!

Beyond her accomplishments, Stephanie is a wonderful listener, an amazing friend, and someone who truly cares about her team. We couldn’t ask for a better Hospital Manager, and we’re so grateful for everything she does for us and our patients every single day.

Happy Boss’s Day, Stephanie! We appreciate you more than you know. Thank you for being our Best Friend!
