We've got a lot of Picassos in daycare today! The pups enjoyed painting (aka free Peanut Butter anyone?!) and we think their masterpieces turned out great!

Bark to School Day 1
The dogs were SO good today! They nailed their school photos and we had the best time discussing their favorite things about Luna, and writing their report cards! We love these very good pups! 🐾
PS - Bark to School is running all week long!

What a sweet way to start the last month of summer! Daycare pups will receive watermelon treats and a splash pad party, Monday, August 3rd!

We've been hiding a little secret... You may know that we board cats from time to time, but did you know that we foster them too? 😸

General Manager, Kendall, spends her "free" time with the Humane Society of Jefferson County leading their Community Cat Program! This program aims to reduce outdoor cat population by trapping, neutering/spaying, vaccinating and returning feral cats that cannot be placed indoors. Every spring and summer, she encounters literally hundreds of kittens born outside that have a chance at a happier, healthier life inside- they just don't know it yet!

This past week, Kendall spent Wednesday morning trapping 12 kittens underneath a porch, and with Luna's history as the old DCHS, and our unwavering love for all animals, we decided to take on the challenge of taming these cuties and finding them homes!

Some have made tremendous progress and will be ready this week for adoption. Others will be ready shortly!
