UPDATE ON SADIE‼️

SADIE HAS BEEN FOUND!!!

We are so incredibly happy to share that Sadie has been cleared by the amazing team at VCA in Madison!

After everything she has been through, we removed quite a few burrs from her fur, gave her a much-needed fresh bath, and she is now HOME, snuggling and resting with her person where she belongs. ❤️

We truly cannot thank everyone enough who helped bring Sadie home. Those who searched, shared posts, kept watch, offered resources, and supported Sadie and her handler throughout these past few days. The outpouring of support from our community has been incredible.

Seeing her safe, clean, cozy, and back with her person is the ending we were all hoping for.

Another team officially begins their next chapter! 🐾❤️🇺🇸

We are incredibly proud to announce that Ruck has officially been placed with Kyle, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran!

After spending time together training at our facility, Kyle and Ruck have built the foundation for an incredible partnership. We’re so excited to watch them move forward together as an official service dog team. 🐕‍🦺

Ruck’s name was generously sponsored by Operation Ruck 22, and his placement was made possible through the support of American Warrior Initiative and Fairway Independent Mortgage. We are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to helping provide highly trained service dogs to veterans. ❤️

A very special congratulations also goes to Kathy, who lovingly raised and trained Ruck. This marks the third service dog Kathy has successfully raised and trained for placement. It’s an incredible accomplishment that represents countless hours of dedication, training, and love. 🐾

🎉 It’s official, Lucy has been placed! 🐾

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Lucy and her new partner, U.S. Army veteran Kyler, as they officially begin their life together as a service dog team! 🇺🇸🐕‍🦺

During their placement training at our facility, Kyler and Lucy spent several days working side by side, learning, growing, and getting to know one another. Watching their bond strengthen throughout that time was incredibly special, and we’re so excited to see that partnership continue to grow as they settle into life together. ❤️

Lucy’s placement was generously sponsored by American Warrior Initiative, whose support helps make life-changing partnerships like this possible.

And a very special thank you to Lucy’s puppy raiser, Donna, who lovingly raised and trained her and gave Lucy such a strong foundation for this moment. From those early days of training to officially walking alongside Kyler, so much love and dedication went into helping Lucy get here.

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾❤️

Around here, we think every day is a pretty good day to celebrate dogs, but today called for a little something extra! 🐶🎉

At the facility today, we celebrated with pup cups! Behind the wagging tails and whipped cream-covered noses are some pretty incredible dogs who spend their days learning, helping, and bringing so much joy to the people around them. 🐕‍🦺

Today, it was their turn to be spoiled a little. A pup cup was the least we could do!

Here’s to the dogs who make what we do at Custom Canines possible. Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Help us congratulate brothers Radar & Darby on officially being matched with their first responders! ❤️

🖤 Radar has been placed with David, and 🤍 Darby has been placed with Alan. These two brothers have grown from service dogs in training into trusted partners, and we are so excited to celebrate this next chapter for both teams!

Radar and Darby were lovingly raised and trained by Barbara Norman and Alan Franks, who have now raised an incredible 41 service dogs, including five sets of siblings! Their dedication to our mission and the countless lives they’ve helped impact is truly remarkable.

Please join us for the 15th Annual Springdale Car Show, Saturday, Aug. 29 on the church grounds, just east of Mount Horeb, Wis.! We’ll have seven classes for vehicles of all kinds (cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors), and present 24 trophies, including Best of Show, Pastor’s Choice and Spectators’ Choice.

Registration ($15 per vehicle) begins at 8 a.m. and the show runs 10-3 p.m. Spectators are free!

Food and music on the grounds; indoor restrooms available.

Proceeds to Custom Canines Service Dog Academy , which trains service dogs for veterans and first responders with post traumatic stress.
