Please help us to welcome Anne Schioppo to the team here at Paz Equestrian!
I first met Anne almost a decade ago when she was a working student with my program before heading off to school to focus on riding, training, and instructing.
I always loved having her as part of our barn crew. She was absolutely beloved by both the riders and the horses. Here we are almost ten years later and are lucky enough to have her back!
Anne started riding when she was 9 and knew from her first ride that she never wanted to do anything else. When she began her riding career, Anne Evented and absolutely loved jumping and doing cross country at shows.
At that time it was all about jumping. It wasn't until she attended Meredith Manor Equestrian Centre that Anne fell in love with dressage and understood the importance of it. While attending school there, she focused mainly on achieving a teaching and training certification and setting her goal to become a professional dressage instructor.
Anne’s goal is to be able to earn a bronze medal in dressage and begin the process to become a dressage judge. Anne also spent some time competing in hunters, reining, and games classes. She also currently holds an OHSA judge card and is looking to obtain more.
Anne will be available for private, semi-private, and group lessons on Fridays and Saturdays here at beautiful Paz Equestrian in Madison, CT.
Lesson spots are filling fast so reach out ASAP to get on her schedule. As always, we limit the number of rides our school horses are allowed to do each week, so once we’re full, we’re full!
