Taproot Dog Training was founded by Madison, WI Trainer & 2-dog owner Laura Strimpel, M.A., and Certified Professional Dog Trainer. Taproot offers Training Classes, Train-and-Board classes, Training Plan Sessions, and Small Breed Dog Boarding.

The 1st class of 2026 is now OPEN for ENROLLMENT! This is a split level class combining skills of both Levels 1 & 2 courses. It's great for beginners & also dogs that already know some basics.
