The City of Madison Webster Animal Shelter is a state of the art, climate controlled "no kill" shelter which provides boarding for homeless and abandoned pets. The shelter is located at 525 Post Oak Road in Madison, MS. Adoption hours are Monday-Saturday, 11am - 5pm and 11am - 3pm on Sundays. The telephone number is 601-605-4729. When considering an individual or family pet, citizens are encouraged to consider adoption of one of our community's rescued animals. The animals are eagerly awaiting a loving home. A pre-adoption form is available for those who wish to apply for adoption of a pet. There is a $100 adoption fee for dogs, $25 for cats, and $75 for kittens which helps to provide for the continued support of the center so it can continue to provide rescue services for abandoned and neglected animals. Our page is not continuously monitored. Please call by phone if you have specific questions about adopting an animal.

A heartfelt thank you to WoodmenLife for thinking of us and our sweet shelter babies!

We are so grateful for the donations and for the thoughtfulness behind them. It means so much to know that there are people in our community who want to show up for these animals and help make their lives a little better. Shelter life can be hard, and there is so much that goes into making sure every animal in our care feels safe, loved, and looked after. Having people who want to be part of that means more to us than you know.

Thank you for taking the time to support our shelter, for thinking of the animals who need us, and for helping us continue doing what we love so much. Every single one of these babies deserves kindness, comfort, and a chance at a happy life, and we are so thankful to have people like you in our corner cheering them on. Thank you!!

Looking for a kitten bottle feeder - one night!

We’re looking for someone experienced with bottle feeding kittens who can help us out for just one night! We have 5 kittens, roughly 3 weeks old, who need a little extra care from Thursday into Friday afternoon. We just need help for one night, and we’ll provide everything you need!

Meet Flower 🐶

Flower is around 2 years old, possibly a little older, weighs about 30 pounds, and is a bit of a mystery mix! Our best guess is some kind of terrier, but your guess is as good as ours.

A few months ago, we took in several terriers and chihuahuas from a hoarding situation, and Flower is the very last one still waiting for her family. We've posted her a few times, hoping the right person would see her, but she still hasn't gotten her chance. We are really, really hoping that changes soon.

Flower is incredibly loving, playful, and silly. She may even be housetrained, or at least would likely catch on quickly if she isn't completely there yet. She absolutely loves other dogs and has played with more than 10 of ours in small and large groups. Big dogs, little dogs, she loves them all! We truly believe she would be great in a home with other dogs to keep her company. She also does well with kids!

Flower can get a little anxious when left outside alone, but having dog friends around makes a big difference for her. She's also a bit of an escape artist when it comes to fences, but it's not because she's trying to run away. She just wants to be wherever her people are! This girl will follow you everywhere. She wants to be included, loved, and part of a family. We know there is a family out there for Flower. We just need to find them.

She has been spayed, is heartworm negative, and is up to date on all general vaccines (rabies included). Please call if you have any questions 601-868-0634 or come meet her.
