🐾🐾 HELP ME WELCOME MY NEW PAWSITIVE VET CARE TEAM🐾🐾
I am so excited to introduce my New Pawsitive Vet Care Team. These Ladies are literally Family to me and a Godsend!
Katie will be my main Chaos Coordinator. For those that know me well, know this has to be one of the most difficult jobs. I am a Hot Mess most of the time, usually a full screen of open tabs and a to do list that is never ending. I am amazed that Katie has witnessed this and still willing to take on the Challenge. So, please be patient with her. There are usually 2 phone lines ringing, multiple emails with multiple prescription requests, and not to mention trying to manage my crazy schedule, especially as I try to schedule some vacation days this month.
About Katie. I have known Katie for 16 years now, she has become family to me. Not only is she an animal lover, but she is a recently retired pediatric dental hygienist. I was so blessed to have her do that tough job for Aubrey for 12 years. I feel tough job is an understatement, and will share some of the amazing things she did for him. I could literally write a book about Aubrey dental stories. I am so thankful for his amazing, dental care team. When Katie isn’t working, she shares her time with her husband (another family favorite of ours), Brian, and her adorable Vizsla pup, Piper, and Special Kitty Boy, Finn. Brian has been my family’s favorite Charter Captain for many years. He is Aubrey’s idol, for he wants to be just like him. I am so thankful for Katie and Brian!
Alexa, is literally family to me. She is my cousin Brian’s, beautiful daughter. I was so excited to receive a text from her this spring asking me if she could shadow me this summer after she graduated UF. She is very interested in going to vet school. I didn’t hesitate to respond, you are Hired! Words cannot express how impressed I am with how fast she has picked up things. Definitely blessed to have her by my side assisting me. Your pets are in great hands with her. I am so proud of all her accomplishments. I am also excited for her future and have no doubts she will make an excellent Veterinarian if she so chooses. Alexa just recently rescued her first puppy of her own, Nessie, a 3 year old Yorkie Mix, and very lucky puppy. She also shares her beloved family boy, Louie.
Heidi has been a part of our team for about a year and a half now. Mostly helping out on Fridays, but she made extra time for us, helping out Mackenzie before we were blessed with Alexa and Katie joining the team. I have known Heidi for almost 20 years. She is an amazing chaos coordinator for my amazing chiropractor, and previous vet assistant for Dr. Manarino for many years. She has also been a godsend for me.
Please help me welcome theses amazing, kind-hearted women. I have no doubts they are perfect for the job! Please be patient during this transition. Mackenzie has done an amazing job training them! It is not an easy job. They have unfortunately had to meet some of your during the most difficult time of saying Goodbye, and have done it with such grace. This is definitely the hardest part of our job, and I feel confident that I have the right crew to help me on those tough days.
Thanks again to all of you who have trusted me to help with the care of your Beloved Family! 💕🐾
