Attention, Pet Parents!

As we approach the 4th of July holiday weekend, Middle Georgia Veterinary Emergency Center will have extended operating hours to ensure we're here for your pets when emergencies happen.

🕒 Holiday Hours:
• Friday: Open all day
• Saturday & Sunday: Open 24/7
• Monday: We will close at 8:00 AM and resume our normal business hours at that time.

If your pet needs emergency care, please call us before you arrive. This helps us prepare for your pet's arrival and speeds up the check-in process.

We also ask for your patience and kindness toward our team. The holiday weekend is one of our busiest times of the year, and wait times may be longer than usual as we prioritize patients based on the severity of their medical needs.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and compassionate experience for every pet and owner who walks through our doors.

Position: Veterinary Receptionist
Location: In Person

Responsibilities

* Greet clients, pet owners, and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
* Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and coordinate daily clinic operations.
* Answer phones and respond to client inquiries about our services.
* Collect payments and process billing accurately.
* Assist with patient check-in and check-out.
* Provide basic pet care information and support as needed.
* Help maintain an organized, efficient, and positive front office environment.

Qualifications

* Previous receptionist or front desk experience preferred.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
* Experience in a veterinary or medical office is a plus but not required.
