Alexa, please play *Easy Like Sunday Morning* 🎶💔

Because Kenny deserves the kind of life that feels soft, safe, and peaceful.

Instead, this 11-month-old girl is back at the rescue after being adopted as a puppy — and shelter life is overwhelming her.

Kenny is terrified here. The noise. The chaos. The constant stimulation. It’s just too much for a sensitive soul like hers.

She thrives as the only pet and needs a calm, predictable home where she can finally exhale.

A HUGE thank you to BB’s amazing adopters for this incredibly generous donation to celebrate one year with BB! 💛🐾

Not only did they give BB the loving home she deserved, but a year later they’re still paying it forward to help the animals waiting for their own happy endings.

This donation is packed with things we use every single day — litter, p*e pads, treats, and more — and it will make a real difference for the dogs and cats in our care.

🚀 It’s Fri-YAY! And we’re excited to announce adoption number 🖐 from last weekend… Rocket!

This sweet, energetic boy just couldn’t seem to catch a break. He waited and waited for someone to see what we saw in him — a fun, loving dog who deserved so much more.

But the wait is finally over. 💙
Rocket has found his soft landing, and we couldn’t be happier for him.

Seeing dogs like Rocket get their happy ending is exactly why we do what we do.

💔 Big Boy is still waiting. 💔

For two years, Big Boy’s entire world was one locked bedroom.

He and another dog, Tank, were confined to that room for two full years — no yard, no walks, no freedom. Just four walls and survival.

Despite everything he endured… Big Boy is still unbelievably sweet. 🐾

After that, he landed at Bibb County Animal Shelter and nearly lost his life simply because there wasn’t enough space. He was saved, but then spent months in boarding, still waiting for someone to choose him.

Now he’s safe with us. But he’s still waiting.

At 5+ years old, Big Boy has the gentlest sugar face and the sweetest soul. He’s not asking for much — just a soft bed, kind people, and the chance to finally experience the life he should’ve had all along.

He survived so much to get here.

We would love nothing more than for his story to finally change. 💛

They currently operate at two sp*eds: Mach 5 Zoomies and Face-Down Puddle of Sleep.

• Puppy 1: The Treat Attorney ⚖️
• Specialty: Eye contact. She will look deep into your soul until you hand over the cheese.
• Current Goal: To figure out why her own tail keeps following her.
• Best Suited For: Someone who doesn’t mind a personal shadow, even during bathroom breaks.
• Puppy 2: The Parkour Champion 🧗‍♂️
• Specialty: Launching himself off couches, dog beds, and slow-moving humans.
• Current Goal: To successfully catch a leaf blowing in the wind (he’s 0 for 42 right now, but the determination is inspiring).
• Best Suited For: An active home that considers "throwing a tennis ball 800 times" a valid hobby.
• Puppy 3: The Velcro Monster 🦠
• Specialty: Melting. The exact second you pick him up, he turns into bone-less mush and falls asleep on your neck.
• Current Goal: To be carried like a human baby for the rest of his natural life.
• Best Suited For: A dedicated couch potato who needs a professional-grade chest
warmer.
