People come to our salon because we are educated professionals. We are Fear Free certified, we are AKC SAFE certified, our owner is a Certified Canine Esthetician and internationally certified through the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists.

When we have a client with a MATTED dog get disgustingly disrespectful to our educated and caring staff, it makes me (owner here 👋) absolutely livid.

I am disgusted that, while trying to enjoy my one time a year vacation, I have distraught employees reaching out to me regarding verbal abuse.

We are NOT corporate.
You do NOT get to walk into my business and disrespect my very valued and very talented employees.

I was made aware that said nasty man is going to "tell his friends about his experience"

GOOD.

If they are a person who feels that demeaning staff is acceptable behavior, then they aren't a good fit for us. They can go to a business who doesn't care about their staff and thinks that customer abuse is part of their job description.

Also- ✨ brush your dog ✨ We provide free brushing tutorials and actually have free slicker brushes for folks in need.

We will not harm a pet to please a person

Anyways, happy birthday to me 🎉 And thank you to all of our wonderful clients 🥰 We're honestly kind of spoiled by how great you folks are, so it's incredibly jarring when someone is nasty to us 😔

Today was a beautiful day! We could have been open, but always prefer to err on the side of caution for both our employees safety & our client's safety as well!

We hope everyone had a safe evening & enjoyed this lovely Saturday.

We were not able to get pictures of everyone for our dye Thursday- please share pics of your pups in the comments!

Also, we are considering opening another dye day this upcoming Wednesday- if you are interested, please reach out! We have every color of the rainbow in Opawz pet safe dye! 🥰 🌈 🎃 ✨

We will be CLOSED tomorrow! It is very likely that we will lose power, and if the rain is bad enough then folks should be off the roads.

We are calling to reschedule everyone! 🐾 be safe!
