Two good boys millions loved without ever meeting ❤️🐶

Millions of people never got to pet Simon or Tucker, yet somehow both felt like dogs we knew. That’s the strange, beautiful thing about the lives they shared online.

Simon () was more than Isabel Klee’s beloved companion. The 7-year-old rescue became known for patiently welcoming frightened foster dogs into his home, quietly helping them learn that people, homes and even other dogs could be safe. After a cancer diagnosis, Simon said goodbye in July surrounded by the person who had given him seven extraordinary years.

Tucker Budzyn () was pure personality in Golden Retriever form. His expressive reactions, chaotic humor and unmistakable bond with Courtney turned him into one of the internet’s most recognizable dogs, reaching millions around the world. Tucker passed at 8 following sudden complications from lymphoma.

They never knew how many screens they appeared on or how many bad days they made a little better.

They were simply being dogs. Maybe that’s exactly why so many people loved them. Rest easy, Simon and Tucker 🌈🐾

Tucker Budzyn, one of the internet's most beloved dogs, has passed away after a short battle with cancer. Tucker was born on May 3rd, 2018, and shortly after, his human Courtney began posting his life online. He quickly gained millions of followers across Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube. He went on to win Pet Influencer of the Year in both 2021 and 2022. In a video posted earlier today announcing the news, Courtney said through tears, "Tucker, I love you so much. You saved my life. There’s nothing in this world that I wouldn’t have done for him. He was literally part of me. He was part of my soul. It feels like I lost a body part." We are awarding him our highest honor, 15/10 ❤️

Happy Belated National Police K-9 Day!

The MCSO wants to celebrate the incredible K-9s of the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office and the dedicated handlers who work alongside them every day.

Our K-9s play an invaluable role in keeping Macomb County safe—from locating missing and endangered individuals, detecting narcotics and explosives, assisting with investigations, finding electronics, and helping deputies in the field. Their skill, loyalty, and determination make them an important part of our team.

And behind every great K-9 is a dedicated handler. Thank you to our handlers for the countless hours spent training, caring for, and building an unbreakable bond with their partners.

Please join us in giving a PAWSOME thank you to all of our MCSO K-9s and their handlers for their service and dedication to our community!

Today is National Police K9 Day. A day to recognize the invaluable asset that K9s are, and the irreplaceable role they play for their departments. K9s not only build a bridge to socially connect officers with the communities they serve, their mere presence at a scene can protect officers and civilians from escalation.

We are proud to support these officers and their humans, and we are so incredibly grateful to the people who help us do that. With your help, we raised over $2,500 for the K9 Fund at our recent fundraiser, despite some rain. That just goes to show how important our K9s are to our community, and we're honored to be a small part of that.

We hope these good boys and girl got an extra treat this evening 💙
