Creekside Animal Hospital is looking for a kind-hearted, motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our growing team. If you want to work in a practice where your growth is encouraged, and your love for animals is shared by everyone around you, you may have just found your new home.

Nestled in the heart of Macomb, Michigan, Creekside Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal practice dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care. We value strong client relationships, teamwork, and ongoing learning. As an LVT at Creekside, you’ll be a vital part of our medical team, helping deliver outstanding care from routine wellness visits to advanced procedures.

Job Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
Monitor anesthesia for surgical and dental procedures
Perform dental cleanings and obtain digital X-rays
Collect and prepare lab samples
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
Educate clients on care plans and at-home support
Keep thorough and accurate medical records
Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment

Qualifications
A Michigan-licensed Veterinary Technician or highly experienced (or soon to graduate)
A strong communicator who enjoys building client relationships
Someone passionate about patient care and continuous improvement

🎉 Celebrating Faith’s 6th anniversary at Creekside! 🐾

For the past six years, Faith has taken on new challenges and responsibilities as part of the Creekside team. Most recently, she stepped into the Team Lead role for our assistants, taking on the challenges of the position with a positive attitude and a willingness to keep learning and growing as a leader.

Faith is also very involved with Creekside Critter Rescue, where she puts a great deal of time and energy into helping our rescue kittens find their homes. From organizing social media posts to capturing great photos of the kittens, Faith plays an important role in helping them get noticed and adopted. 🐱📸🏠

Outside of work, Faith enjoys participating in sports with her dogs, snuggling with her cats, and going on lots of hikes. 🐕🐈🥾

We appreciate all the time, energy, and effort Faith has put into Creekside and Critter Rescue over the past six years. Congratulations on your 6th anniversary, Faith! 🎊🐾

Have you met our sweet fall apples?

Jonagold and McIntosh were left on our front bench earlier this month. We have been over capacity for a while now, but they needed help! Since arriving at Creekside, both boys have been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and they are up to date on all of their vaccines.

This perfect pair will be a great addition to a household looking for lively cats. Jonagold and McIntosh love to snuggle in sunspots when they aren’t playing together. Both boys love to play with a wand toy, but McIntosh is likely to climb into your lap in the middle of the game.

🌿🌸 Our landscaping got a beautiful makeover!

We recently redid our landscaping with Autumn Oaks Landscaping in Ray Township, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We added gorgeous new hydrangeas and cobblestone, and the difference is beautiful.

A big thank you to the team at Autumn Oaks for doing such a beautiful job and helping bring our vision to life!
