BREEDING ANNOUNCEMENTS!🤩

This winter will be an exciting one here at Mack's Creek Basset Hounds! These are our upcoming breedings and we are taking reservations for picks on these! We will also be keeping a couple back for ourselves from a few of these litters and we have first/second/third pick on any of our litters, so keep in mind picks are made after our personal picks. These pairings are well thought out and these will be some phenomenal puppies that not a lot of people have the bloodlines to.

Harley and Groot, expecting tris, and black and tans, they will be due October. This will be our soonest litter! Ready mid December, one male spot and one female spot open (3rd pick on both).

Anika and (hopefully) an outside stud that was imported from Italy! This litter we will be keeping two out of, and the stud owner may also keep one. These will also be pet only, no breeding rights. Due November.

Neve and Groot, these will be black and tans! Neve and Groot are both black and tan and imported from Slovakia. These puppies will have ears for days!! Due November.

I will be posting more photos of each of our beautiful bassets over the next few weeks! Two of these girls will be first time mommas, we are so excited for these babies!!

Our next pairing will be taking place in about a week! I need to get some better pictures of momma, this will be her final litter, and our final that won't be fully import bloodlines. Taking reservations for this litter! 3rd pick female is open and third pick male (only two spots left on the waitlist). They will be due in October and ready a couple weeks before Christmas! Expecting tri colors, and black and tans (with little white). These will be large bassets!!

I have a lot of people ask so figured I would post! This is what our puppies have done before going to their homes. Once babies are born, at 2 weeks old we start deworming our puppies. All of our adult bassets are on monthly heartgard and dewormer, but they still run around in the yard with chickens, goats, pigs and cats! So puppies are dewormed every two weeks starting at 2 weeks old as a preventative. Once puppies are 5-6 weeks old they are given their first vaccine. We give Neopar, its an early parvovirus prevention shot. We give this so once our puppies leave they have a little extra protection! At 7.5-8 weeks old they have a health exam done, a f***l, and their 8 week vaccine (DHPP) at our licensed veterinarian! And also will have a healthy puppy form and/or a health certificate before they head out to their new homes. We also do a one year genetic health guarantee on each of our puppies. And of course I'm always here if anyone has any questions!
