This might be one of the most Rochester neighborhood moments I’ve ever seen…

A dog goes to the bathroom ➡️ neighbor gets frustrated ➡️ p**p ends up on a doorstep 😳

And now everyone’s mad.

Here’s the truth:
It’s not really about the p**p.
It’s about frustration building up over time.

This is exactly why I started my business.
Because something this small shouldn’t turn into neighbor drama.

A clean yard = no stress, no awkward conversations, no retaliation.

If you’ve ever worried about this happening… you’re not alone 😂

(And yes… I’ve seen it ALL 👀)

To the neighbor who scooped up my dog’s p**p and left it on my doorstep,
I am extremely upset and disappointed by what happened this morning. I woke up to find a pile of my dog’s waste deliberately placed on my welcome mat. My porch camera clearly recorded you picking it up from your yard and walking it over to my property to leave it there.
This is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. I understand it can be annoying when a dog goes on your lawn, but retaliating by trespassing onto my property and dumping waste on my doorstep is not okay. It feels petty and hostile, and it has genuinely angered me.
Dogs go to the bathroom outside — that’s normal. I clean up after my dog whenever I can, but it’s not realistic for me to follow him with a bag every single second of every walk. If this is bothering you that much, the mature thing would have been to talk to me directly instead of pulling this kind of stunt.
I’m asking you plainly: do not come onto my property again for any reason like this. If you do, I will immediately involve the police, as I now have clear video evidence of the trespassing.
I expect better from a neighbor. Please stop this behavior right away.

Hey! Quick heads up — we just started a referral program running until the end of May 🐶

If you refer a neighbor or friend and they sign up and pay for their first week of service, you get one week of service for $1.

Most of our customers come from word of mouth, so we wanted to give back when you help us grow 🙂

If anyone comes to mind, just send them my number or message me their name and I’ll reach out.

Appreciate you! 🩷

Your shoes may be tracking more than dirt into your home. 👟

🔬 A University of Arizona study led by microbiologist Dr. Charles Gerba found that shoe soles can harbor an average of 421,000 units of bacteria after just two weeks of regular wear. Some shoes worn for three months reached up to 8 million bacterial units. That's a lot of microscopic hitchhikers coming through your front door.

🦠 Here's what researchers found lurking on shoe bottoms:

Coliform bacteria were detected on 96% of shoes tested. E. coli specifically appeared on 27% of shoes examined. Other bacteria identified included Klebsiella pneumoniae and Serratia ficaria, organisms commonly picked up from outdoor environments and public spaces.

🧩 The transfer mechanism is surprisingly efficient.

When participants stepped onto clean floor tiles with contaminated shoes, bacteria transferred at rates between 90 and 99 percent with just a single step. Research suggests transfer rates may be even higher on carpet compared to hard flooring. 😬

🏠 What does this mean practically?

These findings suggest that removing shoes at the door can be one simple way to reduce outdoor bacteria tracked inside. This isn't about creating a sterile home, which isn't realistic or necessary. It's about being mindful of what we bring in from sidewalks, public restrooms, and other high traffic areas.

⚠️ Important context:

This study involved 10 participants, and results will vary based on where you walk and local conditions. Not all bacteria are harmful, and healthy immune systems handle everyday exposures well. This research simply highlights one factor that may influence indoor cleanliness.

💡 The takeaway?

If reducing household bacteria matters to you, a shoes off policy is one evidence based option worth considering. Small habits can add up. 🧹🏡

Quick question for dog owners in Gananda…

What’s worse?

A) Stepping in dog p**p
B. Your kid stepping in it
C) Hitting it with the lawn mower 😳

Be honest 😂👇

(Also… we just had a couple weekly cleanup spots open up if anyone is over dealing with this every week — message me)

Gananda neighbors — quick heads up 👋

We’re already servicing a few homes on Waterford Rd this Friday and have room for 2–3 more yards while we’re there.

If you’ve been thinking about weekly cleanup, this is the cheapest/easiest time to jump in (since we’re already in the area).

Comment “INFO” or message me and I’ll get you set up.
