A BIG thank you to everyone who has donated to help feed the bears or helped spread the word! 🐻 Our community has shown up in such a big way, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the support.

We now have 12 bears at PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, with our newest arrival joining us this week. These hungry bears need plenty of food to grow strong and reach the weight they need before they can return to the wild.

We’ve received so much wonderful produce, but we can still use help with:

🐟 Fresh, whole fish
🧡 Cash donations
🛒 Safeway, Costco, or Amazon gift cards
🥜 Unsalted nuts, in or out of the shell

Thank you for helping us care for these bears, and we're excited to get them back to the wild! 🌲

Today, PAWS honors Indigenous Peoples’ Day. 🧡 The rich cultures, languages, and traditions of Indigenous communities run deep throughout the Pacific Northwest. We are grateful for generations of Indigenous knowledge, stewardship, and care that continue to shape our understanding of the natural world.

May we continue to listen, learn, and honor Indigenous peoples by respecting their cultures, protecting ancestral lands, and caring for the world we share, for both people and animals. 🦅🌲

This handsome guy is all smiles, playful charm, and endless affection. He loves snuggling up with his people, rolling over for belly rubs, and joining his humans for outdoor adventures. He’s happiest when he’s by your side and gets so excited to see you, even if you’ve been gone for a little while!

Tuxedo previously lived with another dog, but his enthusiastic, rambunctious play style may be overwhelming for smaller or less confident dogs. He’s looking for a family who appreciates his big personality and is ready to help him become the best walking buddy he can be!

Pineapple is an independent soul who likes to observe from a comfy hiding spot, but she appreciates gentle chin scratches when she’s ready to say hello.

Pineapple would love a peaceful home with respectful kids ages 7+ who understand that affection is always best on her terms. With a cozy spot to snooze and her favorite wet food on the menu, she’ll be one happy kitty!

Carter Subaru Loves Pets! 🧡 Meet Fly! 🐕‍🦺 This Border Collie mix is energetic, friendly, and full of personality. She’s a classic working dog with a strong herding drive, so she’s looking for a home that understands and embraces her Border Collie personality.
Fly will thrive with an active adopter who can give her plenty of daily physical exercise and mental enrichment. Fly would do best as the only dog in a home outside of a busy urban area, with space where she can run and can stretch her legs. A home with kids 7+ would be best for her.
