Terrible teens or aggravating adults? I've got you covered!
I have several small group classes that have spaces open. These classes meet once a week for 5 or 6 weeks and I take a maximum of 5 teams--lots of personalized attention! I consistently hear from students that they love the sense of community from my difficult dog classes.
I make it a priority that everyone is safe and welcomed, whether they have a 120 lb cane corso or a 5 lb toy poodle, whether they literally bred the dog or they just got the dog last Tuesday. I adapt my teaching and exercises to YOU and YOUR needs.
Some of the options:
Growing Pains at Kokoro Dog. Sundays at 4 pm, starting 7/19. This is my main teens class and is appropriate for dogs between 5 months and 2 years of age. We will cover all your basic manners skills with a focus on those particularly sticky adolescent brains: How can we get behaviors in distracting environments?
Control Unleashed at Kokoro Dog, Sundays at 2:45 pm starting 7/19, AND at Four Paw Sports Center, Tuesdays at 6 pm starting 7/21. This is a class for those of you who want even more focus on emotional regulation and building focus around distractions. Dogs should be over 5 months and able to be in a room where other dogs are present but not visible.
Reactive Rover at Four Paw Sports, Tuesdays at 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm, starting 7/21. For dogs who struggle seeing other dogs on walks. We will build skills for both you and your dog and then apply them in safe and controlled setups.
Teen Play and Train at Diana Simonsen Dog Training, Mondays at 4 pm. For those of you who want to go to dog parks but are worried about the other dogs there. This is a small, carefully managed group. I referee the play, enforce breaks, and help you tackle small training problems.
