At today’s Lynn Haven Budget meeting, there are recommendations that the shelter be absorbed by Bay County Animal Control.
It is on the table, AGAIN!

There was also talk of a very large fema grant for the shelter, that was not used to make the needed repairs!! We are perplexed that they would not use the monies allocated and then claim no budget for repairs.
How is this the citizens fault? Who was in charge of that debacle?? Are they still in charge??
Geez. Luiz. What a mess!!

We will be planning rallys for both the City of Lynn Haven and the upcoming Bay County Commission Meetings (held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays at 9:00 am).

Our goal is to keep our low kill shelter open in Lynn Haven and to help bring a light to the changes needed at Bay County Animal Shelter. Bay County is in the top 10 for euthanasia in the state.
