NORTH BAY ANIMAL HOSPITAL

was originally founded in 1975 by Dr. Ted Gagnet and has served the Lynn Haven Community as a loving, caring friend to pet owners and their extended family. In 2007 Dr. Robert “Bo” Bergloff purchased the practice and has continued the tradition started over 30 years ago with the same care and compassion NBAH’s patients have come to expect.

Happy Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week!

And last but certainly not least, we’re celebrating Karter! 🐾

As the youngest member of our team, Karter brings an enthusiasm and energy that are impossible to miss. But don’t let her age fool you—she’s already developed a solid foundation of skills and knowledge that might surprise you.

She’s eager to learn, always ready to take on something new, and brings a genuine kindness to the care she gives our patients. We’re excited to watch her continue to grow, learn, and become an even bigger part of the North Bay team.

We’re so glad you’re here, Karter! 💙🐾

🐾 Vet Tech Appreciation Week: Courtney
Courtney joined the North Bay team in February 2025, bringing with her a solid foundation of skills and knowledge—and just the right amount of Looney Tunes to keep things interesting. 😜

She’s eager to learn, always looking for new tasks and skills to tackle, and never passes up an opportunity to put that knowledge into practice. Her curiosity and willingness to jump in and learn make her a great addition to our team! 🐾💙

🐾 Vet Tech Appreciation Week: Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn joined the North Bay team two years ago, making the leap from her veterinary medicine roots to a whole new life here in Bay County. Before making the move, she spent six years working in Palm Beach, building the solid skills and experience she brings to our team today.

She may seem to be one of our quieter technicians, but don't let that fool you—her skills speak plenty loud enough. She can tackle a set of dental X-rays with confidence and precision, quietly get the job done, and make it look almost effortless.

And then there’s that unexpected sense of humor that occasionally catches us completely off guard. 😂

She’s talented, kind-hearted, and quietly funny—and now she’s adding “new mom” to her list of accomplishments—and we’re so happy she chose North Bay as part of her next chapter. We’re grateful to have her on our team! 💙🐾

🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Lecia
Lecia has been part of our North Bay team for almost three years, and she has a way of brightening just about every day with her smile and positive attitude.

Before joining us, she got her start at a local urgent care clinic, where she took on the challenge of learning on the go—and tackling it in true Lecia fashion. She’s a natural learner who embraces new challenges, asks questions, and keeps growing along the way.

We’re so glad she brought that energy, determination, and big smile to North Bay! 💙🐾

🐾 Vet Tech Week Spotlight: Jennifer

Jennifer brings a **wealth of experience in veterinary medicine** to our team, with a background that includes many years of small animal practice in Tennessee, as well as three years at a low-cost spay & neuter clinic. She’s been part of the North Bay team for **more than four years**, and her dedication to our patients is evident in everything she does.

Her love for animals isn’t just something she talks about—it shows up in **every patient she cares for, every day.** We’re incredibly grateful to have her experience, compassion, and steady dedication as part of our team. ❤️🐾

**We’re lucky to have you, Jennifer!**

Happy Veterinary Technician Week!

🕵️‍♀️ Meet Angela… or at least, what she’ll let us tell you.
Angela does not enjoy having her picture taken. She also does not particularly enjoy talking about herself. So naturally, we decided to make a whole post about her. 😂

She’s calm, steady, incredibly knowledgeable, and highly skilled. She’s wonderful with our patients, great with our clients, and is one of those people you can count on to quietly know exactly what needs to be done.

As for the rest of her story… well, that’s classified information. 🕵️‍♀️

If we get enough comments, maybe we can convince Angela to step out of witness protection and show us her face. Drop some ❤️s, tell her how much you appreciate her, or just help us apply a little good-natured peer pressure. 😉

And if you're curious about the woman behind the mysterious silhouette, you can read her official biography on our website: [northbayanimalhospitalpc.com – About Us]

(Full disclosure: this is what happens when your Practice Manager is into creative writing and you're not particularly forthcoming with the “getting to know you” questions. 😂)

Angela: 1.
Practice Manager: 47.
Privacy: Currently under investigation. 🕵️‍♀️🐾

Happy Veterinary Technician Week!

Meet Renee 🐾
With more years of veterinary experience than she cares to disclose, Renee brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to North Bay—and we’re grateful for it every single day. As our Lead Technician, she’s a powerhouse of experience, always ready to lead the tech team into action and keep things moving when the cases get complicated.

She’s highly skilled, incredibly knowledgeable, and never afraid to take the lead. If you see a wicked cool car in our staff parking area, chances are you’re admiring one of Renee’s rides, because her love of vet med is equaled only by her love of cars. 😎🚗
