NORTH BAY ANIMAL HOSPITAL

was originally founded in 1975 by Dr. Ted Gagnet and has served the Lynn Haven Community as a loving, caring friend to pet owners and their extended family. In 2007 Dr. Robert “Bo” Bergloff purchased the practice and has continued the tradition started over 30 years ago with the same care and compassion NBAH’s patients have come to expect.

Faith is excited to have Nexgard Plus for her fur babies!

Nexgard Plus helps protect your dog from fleas, ticks, heartworm disease, roundworms and hookworms - all in one monthly chew.

And here in the Florida Panhandle, parasite season doesn’t have an “off” switch. 🦟🌴Fleas, ticks, and mosquitos can be active year-round, which is why keeping your dog on consistent monthly prevention is so important.

Protect them every month.
Protect them all year.

Schedule a visit to learn more and determine if Nexgard Plus is the right choice for your pet.

Sweet Freya stuck her face in someone else's business and she thinks it was swell, but the swelling needs to go down. We suspect something of a spicy sky raisin as the guilty party, but her swollen lips are sealed. If your pet experiences a similar meet and greet, call us as soon as possible. The location of the bite can affect your pet's outcome. Stay swell, Freya, but NOT swollen!

Why does it take so long to refill my pets’ meds?
1- some requests need to go through a doctor review to make sure it’s still the right medical choice for the patient.
2- our team is busy supporting our doctors and taking care of hospitalized patients. Medications get counted during “downtime”.
3- some meds require special care: special handling, special tracking and special storage. Pictured below, Leo is assisting Renee with that special paperwork.
We truly appreciate your patience when refilling your medication. Set yourself up for success by planning ahead.

Normal order of operation: 1-place patient on table; 2- take X-rays; 3- lift patient down from table; 4- doc reviews the pics.

Fen’s order of operation: 1- place Fen on the table; 2- take X-rays; 3- Fen likes being on the table because he gets fawned over and spoiled; 4- send someone else to get the doc to review the pics because you’re too busy loving on Fen; 5- all available team members come to fawn over Fen. It's been a chaotic evening for North Bay Animal Hospital. This fella escaped his handler and is on the loose. We've been calling him "Elvis" (because he ain't nothin' but a....you get it) but he really doesn't know his name. There have been a couple of "Elvis" sightings in the "state" streets around Po' Boy's on Ohio Ave/77. This boy is SCARED of EVERYTHING but especially LIFE. And men. His default mode is flight. If you see "Elvis" (Dog Elvis, not Elvis Elvis), or find him in your yard, please message us here on Facebook or call 850-265-9435 after 8AM tomorrow. Praying the skies are quiet tonight.
