Michelle Hans 💙🐾

Michelle has dedicated over 22 years to veterinary medicine, including an impressive 19 years working in Emergency and Intensive Care (ER/ICU)! 🩺❤️

Her love for animals started at a young age, and she always knew she wanted a career where she could help them in any way possible. What began as a childhood dream turned into a lifelong passion for caring for animals when they need it most.

❤️ What keeps her passionate about vet med?

"It's my calling."
She has always known this is exactly what she was meant to do and couldn't imagine herself doing anything else. After more than two decades in the field, she feels incredibly fortunate to spend her days doing the work she's dreamed of for as long as she can remember!

Meet our team : RVT Spotlight!
Megan Kiewel💙🐾

Megan has been part of the veterinary medicine field for 5 years! She started her journey in the ICU and has just recently entered into the world of general practice. Her lifelong love for animals, paired with her interest in science and medicine, inspired her to pursue a career where she could combine all three of her passions while making a difference in the lives of animals.

🏡 Her furry family: Megan has six pets of her own!
🐶 Three dogs: Bailey, Bonnie & Milo
🐱 Three cats: Pumpkin, Huck & Finn

❤️ What keeps her passionate about vet med?

Behind every patient we care for is a team of dedicated individuals who have chosen to make a difference in the lives of animals every single day. ❤️

In honor of Veterinary Technician Week, we're taking a moment to look beyond the scrubs and share the passion that brought our team into veterinary medicine and what continues to inspire them every day!

I asked our team two questions;
💭1. Why did you go into vet med?
🩷2. What keeps you in vet med?

Here's what some of them said.

Rachel:
💭1. "I always had a strong interest in science, wanting to help animals/people and medicine"

🩷2. "I stay because I love how everyday is a chance to learn something new!"

Nathan:
💭1. "I was finishing school to be a k9 police officer and eventually realized I only wanted to be around the dog. " 😂

🩷2. "I stay for the animals. If we didn't do our part in vet med, animals wouldn't have anyone to make sure they stay healthy and happy."

Sammi:
💭1. "I always had a passion for animals and pursuing a career in vet med. My dog, Luigi needed surgery to remove bladder stones in 2018 and it really gave me the first taste of animal medicine."

🩷2. "I am at my happiest around animals. I enjoy watching them grow and progress. I love being part of the reason they are loved and cared for."

✅ Head stays OUT of the carrier.
✅ Mom is absolutely NOT allowed to negotiate.
