Friday warm up race! 🎃
For the first time in a LONG time I was actually a little nervous! It’s been just under 3 months since we’ve seen the pattern and I’ve been busy working other horses, so I was nervous I’d forget how to ride 🫣😂
Needless to say Remi always shows up and does his job, we landed top of the 3D and won $175 🫶🏼

Oh Jax, I’ve had this young(ish) mustang for 60 days now. He has been a CHALLENGE. As all mustangs are. Friday we only did 2 time only’s, he did amazing and met my expectations!
Saturday he was extremely looky but stayed on our path for the most part, which was my main goal!
Sunday we had a ton of baby moments and thankfully we worked through them after the race to end on a good note. 😅

Time to get this boy out and about, he’s ready to haul out more and pretend he’s wild… here’s to the next 60 days 🫣😂🩷

Friday morning Flirt tried to get out while the butt bar was still up, she got stuck and managed to get herself unstuck but in the process clipped her left hind leg. She cut it right to the bone but thankfully missed all the important stuff

I took her home and tried to cold hose it to get a better look. Decided she probably would need stitches so I took her in. 13 stitches later… she’s on stall rest for 3 1/2 weeks. She should heal back to 100% but will have a scar. I’m just so thankful it wasn’t any worse!

I also had her teeth done, wolf teeth pulled, and shots done! So it was a very expensive day 🫣🤣

This is your reminder to just put those boots on. I hauled them 7 minutes from my house like I have been the last 3 months. I’ve gotten extremely lazy with putting boots on them, and it could have been a different story had I put them on.
