Join us in congratulating Kim and Isabella of Scarboro Creek Equestrian Center as they've recently received our Mentor Who Matters award!
Kim and Isabella were nominated by Youth Apprentice and Luxemburg-Casco High School student, Gabby. Gabby shared:
"Kim and Izzy are the best supervisors I could have asked for. They consistently push to do my absolute best both in and outside of the barn, holding me to high expectations because they know what I am capable of. They are incredibly supportive and have played a big role in helping me grow, not just in my work but as a person. I am extremely grateful for my youth apprenticeship with them and everything they have taught me. Because of them, I have developed important skills such as responsibility, accountability, leadership, independence, and communication. They have also taught me the importance of a strong work ethic and taking pride in what I do, which I know will greatly benefit me in the future."
Kim and Isabella, thank you for being wonderful mentors who balance high expectations with unwavering support. Your guidance, encouragement, and belief in Gabby's potential have helped shape her into a confident, responsible, and hardworking individual. The skills and values you have instilled will have a lasting impact beyond the workplace!
