Thereβs something incredibly special about watching the next generation grow up at Avalon β and then return with a passion for preserving what this place represents for others. π€π΄
We recently had the opportunity to spend time with Ellie Lang, daughter of Avalon's very own Pam Roush. Ellie grew up at Avalon - she's an A-Circuit performance rider who's competed wi her horse My Lucky Lass at Worlds in Kentucky and now a new Tampa entrepreneur building her own path beyond the barn.
One of the most meaningful takeaways from our conversation was hearing Ellie talk about wanting Avalon to continue giving young riders the same opportunities, mentorship, confidence, and sense of belonging she experienced growing up here.
That is exactly what Avalon Family Charities is all about.
Avalon has always been more than a place to ride. Itβs where leadership is developed, friendships are formed, confidence grows, and young women learn the importance of supporting one another both in and out of the show ring.
Ellie also shared how important it is to surround yourself with strong women who encourage, support, and uplift each other β something deeply woven into the culture of Avalon.
Seeing riders grow into leaders, professionals, mentors, and entrepreneurs is one of the greatest reminders of why preserving this community for future generations matters so much. β¨
