Gunner's oldest foals are now competing, winning in barrels, roping, reining and reined cowhorse events. AlotaPrayernFirewater ApHC is headed to the World show in 2025, Bit O Lace 307 is going to futurity this year or next, showing a lot of promise at the jackpots. Angelfire 307, Fools Rush In 307 and I See You Dreamin, won't be far behind. Already in training and showing tremendous promise. Many others are winning at 4H events with youth riders and earning their keep on the ranch, proving their sire as a producer of good using horses in rough country. I am getting excellent feedback that they are beautiful, intelligent and so easy to work with. Most are out of straight race bred or cow bred dams. He really enhances the head, adds a beautiful cheek and tiny ears. He is siring correct conformation and replicates himself on most of his foals. But that disposition is second to none.

I always look forward to Gunner's new stallion flyer each year. Marcy Norwood has designed them all since the start of his breeding career. This is one of my favorite pictures of him. Taken with a cell phone, standing in a muddy corral, staring at his mares across a pipe fence...But that wouldn't be an acceptable back ground lol
Gunner is truly an all around sire with offspring excelling in and out of the arena. Trainers love them, kids get along with them, and they can go all day and then some, working on the ranch.
People like to say a stallion can't cross successfully on everything, I say try him! Hot headed race mare produced a gelding winning in breakaway roping. ApHC mare produced a reining, ranch riding, ranch trail champion. Race, cutting and foundation mares are producing successful barrel horses and ranch horses. His daughters are also producing user friendly prospects.
There is not a thing I would change about him, pretty head, neck ties in correctly, big shoulder, withers that so many horses lack these days, short back with a long underline, good bone and feet that have never been shod. Low tail set on a big hind end and thick gaskins.
He ranched for several years, has bred pretty full books via live cover and shipped each year, without injections. He's built tough like they used to be, sires a good mind, speed, stamina and work ethic.
