Asphalt can reach 160°+ when temperature is over 95°. If you can't hold your hand on asphalt/concrete for 7 seconds without it burning, its too hot for your pet. Also when temperature 🌡 & humidity are high, your pet can't cool down and could have a heat stroke or possibly die. Please take precautions.

Because most shelter and rescue animals do not have official records on file, the North Shore Animal League America established AUGUST 1st as a universal birthday to honor and celebrate all rescues.
