"It is with deep regret we announce the official closing of the iconic Fox Hunt Farm. FHF was Joy & Jeff Kloss. Decades of riders, quality horses, memorable gatherings & friends have been apart of its history since the early 80s. Thank you to all who patronized our business & grew up to become horsemen under the watchful eye of Joy Kloss.

Kindly, remember Fox Hunt is my family home. We are still in the process of grieving as we navigate this transition. 

- unless you are a current boarder do not drive onto the premises without permission.

- FHF is not now nor will it be for sale or rent, kindly stop asking.

- all equipment jumps extra has yet to be assets and will not be for many months, kindly stop asking.

- if you have pictures of you & your horse you gave Joy as a gift to hang in the barn, please leave them. No photos nor any of our iconic barn history will be discarded.

- Our hope is to set a date for a celebration of life at the farm sometime late spring /early summer. All photos, letters, extra will be on display with in the barn.

My mother loved her students & horses fiercely. I hope as we all gather in 2023 we can laugh & cry & share decades of stories.

Trainer Joy Kloss, who ran Fox Hunt Farm in Lumberton, N.J., died suddenly on Thanksgiving night in Tryon, N.C. She was 71. Bobbi Healey and Double O’Diamonds went and owned it yesterday at the THIS NHS Adult Equitation Championship! After being called back 24th in the first round they had a stellar second round and finished 8th overall! We couldn’t be more proud of her! What a way to end the finals season!

Little update on our horse show from Sunday! Anya Boghosian and Belle of the Ball competed in the Beginner Ground Pole division and were awarded a second, third, and 2 fourths. Congratulations Anya and Belle of the Ball! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for this pair!
