One of the biggest things to look for when choosing a breeder is CHIC-certified parents.

A CHIC (Canine Health Information Center) certification means the parents have completed the recommended health testing for the breed and those results are publicly available. It’s about transparency and breeding with the long-term health of the breed in mind.
