Well friends... it's starting to get a little emotional around here.
In just a few short days, and for some of these babies, just a few short hours, my house is going to get a whole lot quieter. When these puppies were born on June 17th, the days felt long, the laundry was endless, and I wasn't sure how I'd keep up with all of the energy, chaos, and puppy kisses that came with a litter this size.
Now, somehow, they're heading off to their forever homes.
Don't get me wrong... I'm very excited about retiring my kennel-cleaning duties for a while, and I absolutely cannot wait to sleep past sunrise again. 😂 But the truth is, these beautiful baby giants have filled my home with so much love, laughter, and joy that it's hard to imagine them not being here.
Every morning started with wagging tails and eager faces. Every evening ended with puppy piles, belly rubs, and more kisses than anyone could ever ask for. I've watched their little personalities emerge, celebrated every milestone, and poured my heart into helping them grow into the amazing companions they're becoming.
To all of the families who are welcoming one of my Gentle Giants into your homes: thank you. Thank you for trusting me, loving them already, and giving them the lives they deserve. While I'll miss them terribly, there is no greater reward than knowing they're heading to families who can't wait to spoil them.
For now, I'm soaking up every last cuddle, every goofy moment, and every puppy kiss before they begin their next adventure.
While I'll definitely enjoy a break from puppy duty, I already know I'm going to miss hearing little paws running across the floor, finding puppies piled under the patio table, and being greeted by nine happy faces every time I walk into the room.
These babies may be leaving my home, but they'll always have a piece of my heart.
