🚨PUBLIC ANOUNCMENT🚨

We will be conducting a Dog Census for the county of Mason soon. If you don't have a current dog license for your dog(s) over 4 months of age, you need to get your dog(s) up to date on their Rabies vaccine. Then bring that into our office or the Treasurer's office located at the Court House to purchase a license. If your dog does not have a current Dog License you will be issued a ticket.

Having your Dog Licensed is a State Law!

***HOLIDAY NOTICE***

Our office will be closed Saturday, May 23rd and Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

We will resume regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

Meet “Franky”, a male DSH who is approximately 5 years old. He’s very playful and does great around kids. He has not been around other animals though, so a meet and greet is recommended. If you’re interested in adopting him, please contact MCAC at 231-843-8644 or come in during office hours.

"Sissy” Italian Mastiff Female 4 years old
She is good with other dogs and kids. We are unsure how she is with cats. She knows basic commands and is very friendly. She came in with "Alex", and they are a bonded pair. If possible, we would like them to go to a new home together.

"Simba" Male Husky/Lab Mix 2 years old
He has been around other dogs, but we recommend a meet and greet with other dogs that will be in the same home. He needs to be in a home with no cats.

He has been the only animal in his past home. We are unsure how he would do with other cats or dogs.
