Twin Hearts Horsemanship presents:
“Promise and the Ball.”

Y’all- this thing took me over an hour and a half to edit, piece together, and fully make.
I gained 6 new grey hairs and taught myself 3 new cuss words, and realized my patience is only good when it comes to animals 10-12x my own size.

5 minutes or not, please at least watch a couple minutes worth so it’s not all in vain. 😅

Sidenote: the overall time spent on the “ball project” with Promise this past Monday was 15minutes, start as seen to finish as seen. Something seemingly so small as a playground ball to people is actually so huge to horses.

I’m proud of that filly. 💜

Someone please remind Henry he’s only 2 (hence why we are sticking with only basic riding as shown.). Also please remind him this is only his 4th ride and his 1st one saddled. He ain’t perfect yet, but By Gawd for a 2yo he is just absolutely astounding.
Ugh, my heart with this one. 🩵🩵.

Say “Howdy” to Thor!

1 of the 4 from the Georgetown herd with Halle, LJ, and Erin, this big sweet lug is also ironically one of the youngest.
He’s a yearling.
Yes- a yearling….and yes, he is THAT big. 😂

While he’s certainly not lacking in size, he is ever so slightly in understanding the importance of self-regulation and emotional maturity (even for a yearling), so that’s our big thing we’re working on right now is how to handle emotions without losing all of our braincells.

He’s probably my favorite of the 4 (shhhh, don’t tell him or the others I said that). He reminds me of an equine version of Scooby-Doo….big, brown, and spooky. 😂

His journey is already a fun one, so be sure to follow along and keep up with it, too! 🩵

Clipper Training in 2:20, featuring Halle.

This was the first time Halle had ever seen clippers- approach and retreat and appropriate timing of both is huge!

She is such a good girl. 💜

PS: please don’t mind my hideously half-braided hair…it lasted 3 1/2hrs as a full braid surrounded by curiously nuzzling colts before it threw in the towel. 🤣
