All three puppies have been caught. 🎉
The little boy in the worst shape is now with an organization that specializes in emergency medical cases. He is anemic, severely malnourished, likely dehydrated, and full of parasites.
The other two boys are coming to SOS. We asked for fosters, and several people have stepped up. Thank you. Now we need help paying for their care.
We’re going to be honest: we are struggling badly. Four dogs recently came off Memphis euthanasia lists. Spay and neuter surgeries have pushed our Shawnee Animal Clinic bill to about $1,500, and our Memphis vet bill is likely around the same. Our senior dogs need daily medication; several are dealing with chronic ear infections; and we’re always managing another round of heartworm treatment.
Then there’s food—including canned food—and boarding costs for the dogs still waiting in Memphis. We also have to cover fuel for Sunday’s transport. Billy and Crystal Spicer have generously offered to fly the dogs directly here, shortening their time in transit, but we estimate the fuel cost for three dogs will be about $500. There isn’t another regularly scheduled transport coming up soon, so this is a big help in getting them here. Thank you, Billy and Crystal. ❤️
We applied for an emergency medical grant and were denied because the expenses were considered ongoing care rather than an unforeseen emergency. We’re preparing raffle items and hoping to hold an online auction soon, but we need help now.
We haven’t asked for a little while. Today, we’re asking plainly: if you can donate toward the puppies’ care, the vet bills, food, boarding, or Sunday’s transport, please help. Every contribution makes it possible for us to keep saying yes when dogs need us.

If you can’t donate, we understand, but could you please share? We’re grateful for every bit of help. ❤️
Thank you to several people who have donated lately (food or monetarily) and sent help. It is very needed, it is always deeply appreciated, even if we don't always post it up on Facebook! 🫶
We are also going to attach our Amazon wish list which does have several types of canned food on it, and we are completely out and in desperate need.🙏🏼🥫
Thank you to everyone who supports this little Rescue and all the dogs in it!🐾❤️
