💙 Lazy Sunday Afternoon in the Nursery.

While the world outside keeps moving, life in the nursery has slowed to a peaceful pace.

Jewells is enjoying a well-deserved afternoon nap while her little ones are scattered around her, each finding their favorite cozy spot to dream, grow, and recharge. These quiet moments may not seem exciting, but they are some of the most important parts of kittenhood.

Growing healthy, confident kittens isn’t just about playtime and milestones. It’s also about feeling safe, secure, and surrounded by comfort.

As I look into the nursery today, I’m reminded that sometimes the sweetest moments are the simplest ones.

Just a proud mama, six content kittens, and a peaceful Sunday afternoon. I love what I do.

Update our sweet little cream boy found his furever home.

Sometimes the sweetest kittens are the ones who patiently wait a little longer for the perfect match.

This handsome cream boy from Gidget’s litter is currently seeking his forever home. He has the most beautiful blue eyes, a soft fluffy coat, and a gentle, affectionate personality that continues to blossom every day.

Raised in our home with daily handling, socialization, and lots of love, he has recently been neutered and is progressing beautifully. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and will be ready to begin his next chapter with a family of his own.

There is something incredibly special about this little boy. He greets us with curiosity, follows us around for attention, and always seems to be watching the world with those bright blue eyes.

These two beautiful babies from Gidget’s litter are still searching for their forever families. 💙

A blue mitted female and a cream boy are expected to be ready for their new homes in approximately three weeks, pending their upcoming spay and neuter procedures and final veterinary clearance.

Both kittens recently received their second wellness examination and vaccinations and are growing into sweet, confident little companions.

🐾 Gidget’s kittens had a big day yesterday! 🩺❤️

The entire litter had their second wellness examination and vaccinations, and we’re happy to report that everyone did wonderfully. Even Momma Gidget had her own examination to make sure she is staying healthy and recovering well after dedicating so much of herself to raising her babies.

Their next milestone will be their spay and neuter procedures. If everything continues to go as planned, these sweet babies will soon be ready to begin the next chapter of their journey with their forever families.

While several kittens have already been reserved, two of Gidget’s beautiful babies are still searching for their perfect forever homes.

Watching this litter grow from tiny newborns into confident, loving kittens has been such a joy, and we are excited for the families who will soon welcome them home.

A very special Mother’s Day here in the Shades of Sapphire nursery… 💙

This video holds some of my favorite moments — sleepy little babies, proud mommas, soft nursery snuggles… and a very special surprise waiting at the end.

Miss Buttons decided Mother’s Day was the perfect time to introduce her beautiful new litter to the world.

I also wrote the lyrics in this video for all the mothers — both human and furry — because the quiet love, patience, and devotion of motherhood deserves to be celebrated. 💙

Tiny little heartbeats… tiny little lives… and another beautiful Sapphire chapter begins.

Some journeys begin in a very special way… and Beatrice is one of them. 💙

She was raised right here with us, and it has been such a privilege to watch her grow from the very beginning into the beautiful girl she is today.

We’re so happy to share that Beatrice has completed her DNA testing and all results have come back clear. With that, she will be moving forward as part of our program as one of our upcoming queens.

This is never a decision we take lightly. Every step is intentional built on patience, careful planning, and a commitment to the long-term health and integrity of our lines.

Beatrice carries not just the beauty of the Ragdoll, but the temperament and presence we value so deeply here. Because she was raised in our home, we know her, her personality, her nature, her quiet way of connecting and that matters.

We’re excited for what’s ahead, and as always, we will continue to share her journey with you as it unfolds.

Yesterday marked my final day at the Ohio State Reformatory. After a great deal of thought, I made the decision to step away and fully dedicate myself to my cattery.

This isn’t something I took lightly, but it’s something I felt called to do. What began as a passion has grown into something much greater, and it deserves my full attention.

For a long time, I was balancing 16-hour days trying to keep up with everything. Moving forward, I’m creating a more sustainable flow, one that allows me to be more present, more intentional, and more available.

Because of that, I will now have the time to respond more consistently to calls, messages, and emails. The simple things: communication, connection, and being available matters deeply to me, and I’m looking forward to showing up in that way more fully, taking the time for real conversation, not just a quick text.

I’m also excited to share that our stud house will be receiving a full upgrade and new system. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, and I’m looking forward to creating a cleaner, healthier, more structured environment for them. They will also have their own window boxes, allowing them to safely enjoy the outside environment and fresh air throughout the seasons and not just one.

I’m still learning, still growing, and still committed to doing things the right way. That hasn’t changed. If anything, this next step allows me to lean into it even more.

Thank you to those who have supported me along the way. This is just the beginning of what’s ahead.
