We have 3 nervous mama cats who are in need of foster homes.

They are in need of warm, quiet homes that can give them the space to raise their babies.

Rihanna and her 3 kittens will need a foster home for 6-8 weeks

Vidalah and her 3 kittens will need a foster home for 6-8 weeks

Yessica and her 5 babies are in need of a foster home!
She deserves a safe, quiet space where she can raise her babies comfortably and with plenty of room. Yessica is very sweet, just a little shy at first, but warms up quickly.

They will need a foster for about 6-8 weeks

If you can open your home to this little family, you’d be making a huge difference in their lives.

This sweet momma (Lizzy) and her 5 babies were brought in earlier today. She is very sweet and affectionate but she needs some more room to raise her babies. They would need a foster for about 4-6 weeks.

Losing Hope

This is Asher.
He’s a 3-year-old large mixed breed who has been at LAS for 243 days… that’s 243 days without a home.
Asher is a sweet, loving boy who doesn’t understand why he keeps getting overlooked. He watches people walk by every day, hoping this will be the one — the person who finally chooses him.
With the New Year coming, Asher’s only wish is a forever home. A warm place to sleep. A family to love. Someone who won’t give up on him.
Please take a moment to read his story below or, even better, come meet him in person. Sometimes all it takes is one visit to realize a dog is meant to be yours.

FOSTERS NEEDED!

We have 3 mama dogs and 1 mama cat in need of temporary foster homes. Raising babies is hard, and it is even harder in a shelter environment.

Fostering gives these moms a quiet, safe space to care for their babies while they recover and rest.
We cover all medical care and provide food, blankets, and any supplies they may need.

We’re hosting another Home for the Holiday event from Christmas through the New Year.

You can stop by anytime to pick out a dog from our Long Stay Room—
no appointment needed, and everyone is welcome to participate.

Let’s just say our dogs have been busy sending their Christmas lists to Santa Paws,
and they’re all wishing for the same thing…

This sweet mama and her seven adorable babies are looking for a quiet, loving place to call home while the kittens grow.
Mama is a little shy at first, but she’s incredibly sweet — with a little time and patience, she’ll melt right into your arms. 💕
We’re looking for someone who can foster this little family until the babies are old enough to find their forever homes.

We have so much to be thankful for this season. Thank you to our incredible volunteers who step in and help when the shelter needs it most. We are truly grateful for every gift and donation that has been sent our way. We are thankful for the citizens who come in to reclaim their animals, the families who open their homes to fosters, and every single one of you who have opened your hearts and homes to welcome a shelter pet into your family.

As we move into the holiday season, if you’re thinking about adding a new member to your family, remember: it’s always best TO ADOPT, NOT SHOP.

Wishing everyone a blessed and safe Thanksgiving. If you are traveling, please make sure your pets’ information is correct and up to date. Double-check fences and gates before leaving dogs outside, and remember to lend a hand to your friends and neighbors.

The shelter will be closed to the public Thursday and Friday, and we’ll see you again on Saturday.

🐾 Fosters Needed for These Sweet Dogs! 🐾

We are currently looking for loving foster homes for a few very sweet dogs who need some extra care. They’re underweight and just need a safe, comfortable place to fill out and get healthy again.

We will provide everything you need while fostering, including:
• Kennel
• Food
• Puppy pads
• Bowls
• Blankets
• Any other supplies you may need

The foster period will be 3 weeks, after which we’ll do a medical assessment to see how they’re progressing.
