5 truths as a small business owner 🤍

1. Not every event is going to be packed, profitable, or worth it… and that can really mess with your confidence sometimes ☁️⛺️. It’s always a flip of the coin, but we always push forward! I’ve done $50 events and made thousands, I’ve done $500 plus events and flopped, you learn to take it and keep going

2. You’ll question yourself more times than you can count… and still keep showing up anyway. Don’t give up! I know that’s easier said than done but don’t give up 🫶🏽

3.Every market teaches you something — better layouts, better signs, what sells, and what doesn’t ✨ Your setup evolves with you. It takes trial, error, and a LOT of rearranging!

4.Nothing tests your mental strength more than setting up a full booth in bad weather and still trying to stay positive. Market vendors check the weather app more than anything else during event season 😭

5. Learning boundaries is part of becoming a business owner ✨You cannot say yes to every event, order, opportunity, or customer and still protect your peace. It is okay to say NO and still have amazing customers. We are not robots who can do everything and anything, we do our best and for me that’s enough.

This place holds pieces of my heart.
It’s the late nights sewing bandanas after markets, the early mornings baking treats with my family, the dogs that walk through our doors wagging their tails, and the people who continue to support a dream that started so small.

Sweet Pup Co. was built with love, hard work, faith, and the belief that pets deserve beautiful, thoughtful things too.

It’s a place where people stop in just to talk about their dogs.
Where customers become friends.
Where every bandana, treat, bow, and cake has intention behind it.

Some days are exhausting. Some days are overwhelming. But seeing your pups in our products and watching this little dream continue to grow makes every single moment worth it.
