I have to tell y’all about the best thing I’ve ever purchased for our dogs. A few months ago we had a very scary event. Our dogs went for a roam and Opal tried to chase a rabbit into an old irrigation pipe, her head became stuck. Our neighbors actually saw her but, because of the position she was in and the distance from their house they thought she was a trash bag. When they figured out she was a dog, we had to rush her up to the fire station to have the pipe cut off of her head. We are so lucky that she didn’t have any lasting issues.
I immediately purchased 2 FitBarks and we have been using them ever since. They are fantastic! If your puppy goes missing or is stolen, it provides you with GPS location and directions to them. It also gives you daily analytics on sleep, and activity. It’s small, attached to the collar, and is not really noticeable.The battery last about a week to a week and a half. It has given me so much peace of mind! You can even link up with friends and have challenges. No one ever thinks their dog is going to go missing, and despite our best efforts, things do happen.
