Talk about a picture-perfect Down on the grass! 🐾

Gumbo is on day 6 of his 2-Week Behavior Modification Board & Train, and this handsome boy is chilling in the sunshine with his paws out front, gazing off like he owns the park. Down is one of the most useful commands in everyday life. It teaches a dog to settle and relax when things get busy, whether that's at a vet visit, a patio dinner, or when guests come over.

A dog that can lie down and stay calm has a much easier time handling stress, and that's exactly what we're building with Gumbo. 🌿

Who says a metal platform is just for playgrounds? Shadow is using it to show off her Sit!

Shadow is on day 13 of her 2-Week Advanced Board & Train, and this sweet girl is looking up at us with her tongue out and a big smile. "Sit" might seem simple, but it's one of the most useful commands in everyday life. A solid sit gives your dog a polite way to say hello, wait for dinner, and settle while you open the door or clip on the leash. Fun fact: dogs repeat what works, so a sit that gets rewarded becomes a habit fast! 🐾

WARNING: One very handsome boy has entered training! 🐾

Everyone welcome Gumbo to our 2-Week Behavior Modification Board & Train! This good boy checked in today, Monday, looking sharp in his orange leash and giving us that sweet, curious look. Gumbo is here to work through anxiety, reactivity, or aggression, and we'll help him manage his emotions and make better decisions under stress.

Over the next two weeks, Gumbo will practice come, sit, place, down, and heel in real-world scenarios around Lubbock. Fun fact: dogs learn best when they feel safe, so building confidence is a big part of good behavior. Muzzle conditioning will be used if needed, and 4 follow-up lessons are included. 🐶
