What was the surprise event you might ask?!??🍝👩‍🍳

A cooking class!!

Our staff had the great opportunity to take a class hosted by Culinary Co-Op. Where we got to make Chicken Alfredo from scratch and learn how to make apple bread pudding. From making the noodles and the sauce to tasting the final product, we had an amazing experience!

An evening filled with new experiences, lots of laughs, and great tasting food we could not have had a better surprise!

Thank you so much to Dr. Broadway for planning such an amazing evening. And thank you Culinary Co-Op for the amazing night!

Feline Urinary Blockages: A True Emergency! 🐱

Recently we have seen quite a few male cats for urinary blockages! A urinary blockage is a life threatening condition that is an emergency!

If you notice your cat is visiting the litter box more frequently, straining to urinate, producing little to no urine or they are vocal in the litter box, they need to be seen as soon as possible!

Early intervention is key to helping prevent other severe complications!

If you notice your feline friend is having abnormal urinary habits, give us a call so we can get them in!

Porcupine Quills: A Painful Problem for Pets! 🐾

Oh Rex not again! Some pups have to do something 1…2…3 times and they may never learn! We saw Rex for his 3rd porcupine encounter!

Rex isn’t the only pup we have seen this summer for quills to the face! Curious dogs can sometimes get a little too close to porcupines, resulting in painful quills embedded in the face, mouth, or body.

If your pet encounters a porcupine, seek veterinary care as soon as possible. Our veterinary team can safely remove the quills, provide pain control, and check for deeper injuries or complications.

When curiosity meets a porcupine, let your veterinarian handle the quills! 🐶🦔💙
