A gentle reminder from your breeder friend... 😊
I know it's easy to get excited about a puppy and ask for one to be held "just for a few days."
Unfortunately, I've learned the hard way why my contract requires a deposit before a puppy can be reserved.
When I hold a puppy without a deposit, I may pass on other qualified homes, stop advertising that puppy, or tell interested families that the puppy is spoken for. If plans change later, I've lost valuable time finding that puppy the perfect home.
I absolutely understand that life happens. Medical issues, family situations, finances, and unexpected circumstances can change plans overnight. No hard feelings when they do.
That's exactly why deposits exist. They protect both the breeder and the puppy.
Thank you to all of our amazing Angel's Aussies families for understanding that puppies will only be held or marked reserved once a deposit has been received. ❤️
