Bayou needs a foster!

Bayou was rescued off the streets of Daphne a little over a month ago, very malnourished and exhausted of walking…he is heartworm positive & not neutered. He has a treatment plan currently in action for his heartworm treatment that we are raising money throughout his treatment appointments. He returns back in 7 weeks for his next shot.
We are looking for a foster with either small dogs or no pets at all, he does great with all dogs but desperately wants to play with Gypsy (our pit) but he can’t be wired up while going through treatment. He takes 2 pills a day for his heartworms & is prescribed trazodone to keep him calm during the process. He has not been around household cats long enough to know how to act around them & 1 of my cats wants to fight him everytime he sees him so we have to keep him away. Really looking for someone who can provide more time and love out of his kennel and room that he’s been confined in while he goes through his treatment until we can get him neutered and adopted out! I will 100% be in charge of his appointments and such. You’ll just be in charge of showing him what true love is & making sure he’s getting his heartworm pills everyday! 😀 He is extremely sweet, knows basic commands and we’ve been teaching him lots of things as he’s been with us!

UPDATE POSTED IN PICTURES!!

Hi, friends! As y’all know I foster for all types of animals, furry to feathery to reptiles! I currently have a cat whom I think (from past experience) may be having kidney problems. She has almost no color in her ears and nose. I have called around and as I wait for my application to be reviewed at stray love to help pay for her medical bills, I am also going to ask here if any one would be willing to donate for her care. I am taking her to med vet tomorrow and will set up donations through them. In the meantime, if you have anything extra to send, it will be 100% added to Charmie’s live-saving adventure! She also has a nasty wound on her foot that needs to be seen.

I will not post my cashapp, as I do not want any of these donations going to me, but I will be taking messages for anyone who wants to be updated on her care, and will send the contact info for the clinic when I’m able to take her there!!

This sweet girl is located in my neighborhood. We have been feeding her for about two weeks now. She is always here, always dirty, and still skinny. I can foster her as long as we can find her a home!! Please share this post wherever you can!! It’s been storming lately and I do not want her outside!!

UPDATE: TIFTON IS WITH HIS NEW FAMILY!

Hi! I’m a foster in Baldwin County! This male orange tabby was surrendered to me a few months ago, and we have been searching for his forever home since! He is the MOST snuggly kitten we have here. He does have mild allergies, he’s a sniffler 🥹 He is fixed and ready to be re-homed! We would love to be updated on his adventures to make sure he goes to a great home! I was called Idgie in the shelter but that wasn't my name.
I felt like I wasn't important in the shelter or loved enough for anyone to come look for me.
I just wanted out of that place and actually feel safe for once in my life.
I was overlooked so many times because I was a "momma dog" and I was shy.

My name is Maggie now and I feel safe and loved.
I was saved by a rescue that's pretty cool and a foster mom who is awesome.
I feel like my life has purpose now and that people want what's best for me.
It's a feeling I'm not use too but I welcome it. I would really like to find someone who makes me feel safe, loved and wanted forever. Who never lets me go or dumps me at the shelter again.

Esmeralda will soon be looking for a couch to call her own. This girl has been a fantastic mom and has even adopted the pups that lost their mom. She is however, just over them. She will stay with us for a couple of more weeks but we would really like to see her find her home. She deserves good things. This girl doesn’t just wag her tail, she wags her whole body. If you’re smart you’ll avoid puppy time and opt for this perfect girl. No accidents in the house. She digs the crate. She’s quiet and really just wants to hang out and relax mostly. She does not like cats but gets along with everyone else.
