It’s fowl pox season (chickens). It’s very important to vaccinate your chickens before you have a disease outbreak.
We have the vaccine. Should also vaccinate for mycoplasma as it “comes out” with the rains.

Please contact us. We can teach you how to provide this important health care.

Alternatively you can spend alot in the clinic when your birds get sick 😃$$$

Also bring a pooled stool sample to check for parasites.

Keep chickens healthy 🐓🐣🐥

This Amazon came in showing neurological signs. X-ray revealed many metal particles. They are easily distinguished as metal because they are very dense- much more dense than bone.
His liver enzymes are also very high possibly due to metal toxicity. We will use a metal chelation agent to reduce toxicity and also try to flush out the metal particles. Due to their round shape and their size I think the prognosis is pretty good. Time will tell.

This little girl had a giant egg putting pressure on her sciatic nerves making her temporarily paralysed. It was initially high in the abdomen but when it came close to the cloaca it was easily imploded and removed under anaesthesia with no surgery

She is walking well now and in the road to full recovery

This little budgie was presented with a mass hanging between the vent and the tail. We initially thought it was a lipoma and it was even suggested to me to tie it off.
We anesthetized her and began surgical removal and found a loop of gut. It was a giant hernia.

After successfully replacing the intestines in the abdomen and suturing it closed she was soon eating and defecating normally.

We are in the clinic working on Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please call 561-795-4878 for an appointment
