Summer has officially arrived in Florida (Even though it always feels like Summer here), while we look forward to beach days and backyard parties; its important to keep our furry family members safe in the heat! 🐶🐱

☀️Always provide plenty of fresh water!
☀️Walk pets during the cooler morning or evening hours
☀️Test the pavement with your hand - if its too hot for you, its too hot for their paws!
☀️Never leave pets in a parked car, even for just a few minutes.
☀️Watch for signs of overheating - such as excessive panting, drooling, weakness or vomiting!

✨Staff Spotlight!✨

We're excited to shine this week's spotlight on Kaitlyn! She has only been with our team for 9 months, but she has a lifelong passion for animals. Growing up around a variety of animals helped inspire her love for veterinary medicine and her dedication to providing compassionate care to every pet she meets.

One of her favorite parts of the job is learning from the veterinarians she works alongside each day to expand her knowledge and skill set; she also loves to welcome new puppies and kittens during their first visit! (Who doesn't love those sweet little faces!)

When she's not at the clinic, she loves spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, attending concerts or making memories with her three dogs; Roxie, Tecova and Cleetus! 🐶🤎

While we may look forward to fireworks, backyard BBQs and celebrations; many of our pets find the holiday loud, scary and stressful.

If your pet struggles with anxiety during fireworks, now is the time to plan ahead! Don't wait until the last minute to request anxiety medications or refills; our doctors need time to review your pet's medical history and these medications will be in high demand!

🐾 Call us early to discuss your pet's options!
🐾 Make sure you have enough medication before the holiday!
🐾 Consider doing a "test-run" before the big night to see how your pet responds!

We have some exciting announcements and promotions this month! ✨

We've had TWO new veterinarians recently join our team; Dr. Blair and Dr. Martinez McDow! We will be running a special for new clients only - $30 off your visit when you book with either of our new doctors!

We are also hosting a pet food drive for Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League (Peggy's Pantry); they provide food for pets during times of financial hardship for families located in Palm Beach County. Donations can be dropped off to the clinic during our normal business hours starting today through the end of June!
