Twombly Setters Legacy English Setter bird dogs since 1924 Earl Twombly began raising and training bird dogs in Vermont in the early 1920s.

He was an excellent shot and sportsman. Earl knew how to bring out the best in a dog and in the owner. He and his daughter Becky (my mom) showed and trained together before ww2. I am Legh Higgins, his grandson, and now my wife Jenn and I bring you these fine bird dogs, raised in the old tradition, just like Gramp's daily journals say...
