At PrimPups Dog Salon, we understand that life happens and unexpected situations arise.
However, we do ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

As a small business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows impact our team directly. Our groomers are paid on commission, so missed appointments often mean lost income for the professional who set aside that time for your pet.

Going forward, we’ll be consistently enforcing our cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows may be asked to either pay a missed appointment fee, or to leave a deposit or prepayment before future appointments can be scheduled.

These policies aren’t about punishment, they are about protecting our team’s time and livelihood. We appreciate our clients who respect their appointment times and communicate with us when plans change.

We have MORE exciting news!!

🐾 Meet Jelena – Our Newest Bather at PrimPups! 💜

We’re so excited to welcome Jelena to the PrimPups family! While she may be a new face to some of our clients, she’s certainly no stranger to the grooming world—or our team! Jelena has previously worked alongside both Angela and Mackenzie, making this a wonderful reunion!

With 14 years of experience as a professional bather, Jelena brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and a genuine love for animals. Growing up surrounded by dogs of all breeds and sizes, along with plenty of other animals, caring for them has always come naturally to her.

One of Jelena’s favorite parts of her job is working with anxious or nervous dogs. She takes special pride in creating a calm, safe, and reassuring environment, helping each pup feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.

Outside of the salon, Jelena is a proud mom to two boys and a dog of her own!

We’re thrilled to have her experience, compassion, and familiar face back alongside our team. Please join us in giving Jelena a warm PrimPups welcome! 💜🐶

🐾 2027 PRICING UPDATE 🐾

As we prepare for our updated pricing to take effect January 1, 2027, we want to give our PrimPups families a little more information about what to expect — including an important update regarding your pet’s weight!

⚖️ First things first: we’re updating weights!

Over the years, puppies have grown, pets’ weights have changed, and some client profiles simply haven’t been updated in quite a while.

Because our grooming and add-on pricing is based in part on your pet’s size, having an accurate weight helps us make sure each pet is placed in the correct pricing category.

At an upcoming appointment, you may notice us asking your pup to step on the scale so we can update their weight in our system. 🐶

For some clients, this may mean their base grooming price and/or add-on pricing will move into the appropriate size category beginning in January.

💜 A special note for Mackenzie’s request clients:

As PrimPups has grown, I’ve realized that some of my longtime request clients have remained at older pricing for much longer than intended. I’m incredibly grateful for the clients who have supported me throughout the years, but moving into 2027, I also need to make sure pricing is consistent and sustainable across the salon.

Because of this, some of my request clients may notice a larger adjustment than others when the new pricing takes effect. This isn’t because you’re any less appreciated — quite the opposite! In many cases, your pricing simply hasn’t had the same gradual increases over the years.

For clients whose weight and current pricing are already accurate, the change may be very small — sometimes only $1, $2, or $3 depending on the service and size of your pet.

📅 Current pricing will be honored through December 31, 2026.

Beginning January 1, 2027, appointments will reflect our updated 2027 pricing based on your pet’s service and current weight category.

We know price changes are never anyone’s favorite announcement, and we truly appreciate your understanding. These updates allow us to continue providing the quality care, products, time, and attention your pets deserve while keeping our pricing fair and consistent.
